Traveling Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel involved in the project.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the construction process.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets company standards and client expectations.
• Utilize HeavyBid for accurate bidding processes and project cost estimation.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using construction management software, including ProCore and Primavera.
• Experience with budgeting processes and financial oversight in construction projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,852.00 - $135,000.00 per year
