Traveling Building Automation Technician / Electrician / HVAC Technician

Employment Type: 1099 Contractor or W-2 Employee — with potential for full-time employment based on experience, reliability, and work ethic

Pay: Approximately $2,000–$4,000 per week, depending on experience and qualifications

Travel: Out-of-state travel required

Job Summary

Plugged In Electric is a growing electrical and building-services company looking for a reliable, experienced technician to join our traveling crew.

The immediate need is for someone to assist with a Bass Pro project for the next couple of months, with the possibility of continued work afterward. We have ongoing projects and are looking for someone interested in becoming part of a growing company.

The position will involve electrical work, building automations, HVAC controls, monitoring systems, lighting, troubleshooting, installations, and other related work depending on the project.

Experience

• Previous experience in electrical, HVAC, building automation, or controls
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel out of state
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Reliable and dependable
• Strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Able to work extended/traveling job assignments
• Must be willing to stay in hotels while working out of town
• Experience with commercial projects is a plus
• Building automation/controls experience is a plus
• Electrical or HVAC licensing/certifications are a plus

Pay: From $2,000.00 per week

Work Location: On the road
