Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Aide - Part Time.

In this role, the successful candidate Delivers meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients, distributes menus to patients, and collects dirty trays for warewashing.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Prints census sheets and delivers trays to patients on assigned units. Reads patient menus to confirm room number, diet, and date of birth.
• Retrieves dirty or finished trays for warewashing.
• Distributes appropriate menus to patients in advance of mealtime for selection.
• Uses proper scripting techniques in all interactions with patients.

Minimum Qualifications To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Strong communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills. Ability read well and write legibly. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications 1- 2 years In Food Service or Tray Passing. Basic computer skills.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $24.60 - $24.60 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
