Treasury Accountant | Melbourne Based | Immediate start | Temporary Contract
 
The Opportunity:
FourQuarters Recruitment are exclusively working with an established client seeking an experienced Treasury Accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis.

This is a broad treasury role supporting day-to-day treasury operations, month-end accounting, financial reporting and treasury projects within a collaborative environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare treasury journals and support month-end reporting.
• Manage treasury payments and daily treasury operations.
• Perform reconciliations across treasury systems and the general ledger.
• Support treasury accounting, financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Assist with investment, funding and cash management processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives and project work.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Treasury Analyst, Treasury Accountant or similar treasury role.
• Strong understanding of treasury accounting and month-end processes.
• Excellent reconciliation, analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards is advantageous.
