Treasury Assistant

Job Summary

·        Perform cashiering functions, including receipt, disbursement, safekeeping, and reconciliation of funds.

·        Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

·        Coordinate with banks regarding account maintenance, banking facilities, electronic banking platforms, and other treasury-related matters.

·        Monitor bank balances and optimize cash utilization across various accounts.

·        Prepare and maintain treasury reports, cash position reports, bank reconciliations, and management dashboards.

·        Manage and reconcile cash receipts, collections, and other treasury transactions on a daily basis.

·        Investigate and resolve unreconciled items, bank discrepancies, and payment-related issues.

·        Support working capital management initiatives and provide recommendations for cash flow optimization.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, banking regulations, and audit requirements.

·        Maintain accurate treasury records and supporting documentation for all transactions.

·        Assist in the administration of bank accounts, signatory updates, and banking documentation.

·        Coordinate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to ensure accurate recording and settlement of transactions.

·        Utilize SAP and treasury management systems to record, monitor, and reconcile treasury activities.

·        Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cash and bank accounts.

·        Participate in the development and enhancement of treasury policies, procedures, and process improvements.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Banking and Finance or any relayed field graduate.

·        Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in Treasury, particularly in Cash Management.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP software.

·        Willing to be assigned in Mandaluyong City.
