Treasury Assistant

About the role

This role involves auditing daily transactions of assigned stores, reviewing and analyzing inventory variances, cash overages, and shortages, and monitoring store cash and POS transactions. You will ensure compliance with established cash-handling and operational procedures, address client and customer service concerns related to transactions, and identify discrepancies while providing accurate findings and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily transactions of assigned stores
• Review and analyze inventory variances, cash overages, and shortages
• Monitor and verify store cash and POS transactions
• Ensure compliance with established cash-handling and operational procedures
• Address and analyze client/customer service concerns related to transactions
• Identify discrepancies and provide accurate findings and recommendations
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve transaction and operational concerns
• Effectively communicate information and findings in a fast-paced environment
• Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure accurate and efficient operations

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting Technology, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of POS systems and store operational processes is an advantage
• Willing to work on-site in East Grace Park, Caloocan City
