Treasury Assistant

• Assist in forecasting short-term cash flows to ensure funds are available for sudden claims payouts.
• Track and allocate payments received via brokers, agents, direct and clients. Match collections against active non-life insurance policies.
• Execute timely payments for reinsurance premiums, broker commissions, vendor invoices, and approved policyholder claims.
• Assist in performing daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements against the internal insurance ledger. Identify, investigate, and resolve any transaction discrepancies.
• Documentation and Commission processing.
• Assist in preparing liquidity reports for internal management and external regulatory bodies (e.g., Insurance Commission compliance). Ensure all transactions adhere to internal control policies.

Job Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a highly related business field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or accounting. Prior experience in a non-life insurance company or financial services firm is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with accounting systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and specialized insurance core systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, basic financial modeling) for managing heavy transactional data.

Soft Skills & Core Competencies

• Attention to Detail: High precision is mandatory when handling large numbers, processing claims, and identifying ledger variances.
• Time Management: Ability to meet strict daily banking cut-off times for payments and clearing.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to trace unidentified deposits or payment errors.
• Integrity: Absolute honesty and discretion when handling large financial assets and sensitive policyholder data.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
