Treasury Assistant - SMCD

Position description: Responsible for the performance of Treasury clerical functions relative to handling of imprest funds, acceptance of over the counter payments and cashiers remittances, issuances of receipts; encoding and generation of collection related reports; logging and monitoring of daily issuances of accountabilities; and releasing of payables to suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• • Manage imprest funds by releasing cash advances, reconciling daily transactions, and maintaining accurate cash journals.
  • Handle collections through daily cash pickups, payment processing, receipt issuance, and proper turnover of financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy by preparing reports, conducting inventory of accountable forms, and managing required records.
  • Support operational efficiency by preparing materials requisitions and ensuring smooth coordination of treasury-related activities.
  • Pursue learning and growth through continuous training, skills development, and active participation in talent development initiatives.
