CLEANFUEL IS HIRING: TREASURY ASSOCIATE

Cleanfuel is looking for a Treasury Associate to support the daily monitoring, checking, and reconciliation of cash transactions coming from our gasoline stations. This role will help ensure that station sales and collections are properly accounted for and that any discrepancies are promptly identified and coordinated with the appropriate teams.

The position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and capable of handling time-sensitive financial records.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?

• Review daily station sales, cash collections, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform daily reconciliation of reported sales against cash collections and related records.
• Check and document cash shortages, overages, bank adjustments, and other treasury-related entries.
• Monitor outstanding shortages and coordinate with concerned station personnel regarding proper settlement.
• Prepare and update monitoring reports for cash collections, shortages, and reconciliation results.
• Examine transactions and supporting documents to identify discrepancies, irregular entries, or unusual cash activity.
• Coordinate with the Operations Team and station personnel to verify and resolve cash-related variances.
• Escalate significant shortages, suspected irregularities, and other unusual transactions to the appropriate team.
• Maintain organized records of reconciliation results, adjustments, supporting documents, and related treasury transactions.
• Assist the Treasury and Financial Audit teams in investigating and resolving cash-related concerns.
• Ensure that daily assigned reconciliation and monitoring tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in treasury, accounting, cashiering, cash management, reconciliation, or a similar function.
• Background in handling daily sales, collections, or cash-related records is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage routine and time-sensitive tasks.
• Able to review transactions carefully and identify discrepancies or unusual activity.
• Experience in the fuel, retail, or similar industry is an advantage.
