Treasury Executive – Operations / Audit

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Executive who is having good and sound knowledge in Operation and Audit to manage day-to-day treasury operations, cash management, banking activities, reconciliations, and treasury-related audits. The role will ensure accurate financial controls, timely reporting, compliance with internal policies, and effective coordination with banks and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, fund transfers, and bank transactions.
• Monitor bank balances and ensure adequate liquidity for business requirements.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly cash flow and treasury reports.
• Perform bank and treasury account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with banks for payments, collections, account-related matters, and documentation.
• Verify payment transactions and ensure compliance with approval and authorization procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of bank accounts, guarantees, letters of credit, and other treasury instruments.
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, confirmations, and supporting documents.
• Review treasury processes and identify control gaps, exceptions, and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable banking/regulatory requirements.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring treasury controls and standard operating procedures.
• Track audit observations and coordinate with relevant teams for timely closure of findings.
• Prepare MIS and management reports relating to cash, banking, reconciliations, and audit matters.
• Support process improvements, automation, and documentation of treasury operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CA/CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in treasury operations, banking operations, finance, accounting, or audit.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliations, cash management, payment processes, and financial controls.
• Strong MS Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
• Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential financial information.
