Treasury Insurance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Treasury responsibilities include monitoring daily cash balance, preparing cash flow forecasts, coordinating payment and fund transfers, and liaising with banks. The role will also monitor loan repayments, bank facilities, and foreign currency requirements, and prepare regular treasury reports.
• Insurance responsibilities include coordinating coverage for plantations, mills, buildings, machinery and vehicles; managing policy renewals; and handling claims from initial notification through settlement. The role will maintain policy and claims records, coordinate with brokers and insurers on site surveys, and follow up on risk survey recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, insurance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate insurance, or a related finance role
• Practical knowledge of cash management, banking transactions, payment controls, and cash flow forecasting
• Experience with corporate insurance policies or claims; knowledge of property, machinery breakdown, and business interruption insurance is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate independently and follow matters through to completion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to be based in Medan and travel to operational sites when required
