Treasury Junior Accountant

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Treasury Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at SKY express. In this role, you will support the daily treasury operations of the Company by ensuring the accurate processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of cash and banking transactions. The role plays a critical part in maintaining effective liquidity management, supporting financial controls, and ensuring the smooth execution of treasury activities across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Verify transaction documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor bank accounts, identify discrepancies, and support the timely resolution of treasury-related issues.
• Perform reconciliations of daily banking transactions and assist in the preparation of treasury reports.
• Record and maintain daily bank and card transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support smooth and efficient treasury operations.
• Support the preparation and execution of the weekly payment schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in Accounting, Treasury or Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP ERP knowledge will be considered an advantage).
• Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in IT (MS Office suite).
