Treasury Manager

Role Description The Treasury Manager at CMRDI Training Center is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing cash management, liquidity planning, and short-term investment activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring bank accounts and cash flows, preparing cash forecasts, and ensuring timely execution of payments and collections. The Treasury Manager will manage relationships with banking partners, support the optimization of banking structures, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves preparing treasury reports, analyzing financial data to support decision-making, and recommending improvements to risk management, funding strategies, and overall treasury operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank account administration.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using financial software, spreadsheets, and online banking platforms; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices in risk management and corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CTP) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
• Prior experience in an educational, research, or training organization is advantageous but not required.
