Treasury Sr. Manager / Manager

Role Summary

The position holder will play a key role in supporting fund-raise initiatives by driving debt mobilisation, managing relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors and credit rating agencies, and coordinating end-to-end execution of all transactions. The role offers exposure to institutional funding, structured financing, regulatory compliance, and strategic liability management.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Raising & Lender Management

• Support fund raising from Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), Mutual Funds, AIFs and other institutional investors.
• Prepare funding proposals, lender presentations, information memoranda and related notes.
• Coordinate end-to-end execution of transactions, including due diligence, credit evaluation, documentation, security creation, sanction and disbursement.
• Support refinancing and renewal of existing credit facilities and identify opportunities for optimizing the borrowing profile.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective lending partners.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfilment of lender information requirements and post-disbursement compliances.

Credit Rating Agency Engagement

• Coordinate annual, surveillance and event-based rating exercises with credit rating agencies.
• Prepare rating presentations, analytical submissions and information packs for rating reviews.
• Support interactions with rating analysts and senior management during rating discussions.
• Ensure timely submission of financial, operational and portfolio information required for rating assessments.

Reporting, Compliance & Analytics

• Monitor borrowing costs, repayment schedules, lender covenants and compliance requirements.
• Prepare fund-raising MIS, lender dashboards, covenant trackers and management reports.
• Track market developments and financing opportunities to support funding strategy.
• Coordinate with all internal stakeholders for seamless execution of funding transactions.
• Support lender audits, statutory audits, due diligence exercises and regulatory reporting.
• Assist senior leadership in strategic fund-raise initiatives and onboarding of new lending partners.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); Company Secretary (CS) with relevant experience may also be considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in Fund Raising, Corporate Finance, Debt Syndication, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Financial Institutions or NBFCs.
• Strong understanding of debt products, institutional lending and financing structures.
• Experience interacting with banks, financial institutions, investors and/or credit rating agencies.
• Strong financial analysis and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to debt fund raising, lender relationship management and structured financing transactions.
• Experience coordinating with credit rating agencies
• Familiarity with RBI regulations, financing documentation and lender compliance requirements.
