Treatment Coordinator

Happy Light Dental is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team. You will guide patients through their treatment journey — presenting treatment plans, handling insurance and financial arrangements, and following up to make sure patients get the care they need. This role is a key link between our clinical team and our patients. Schedule: - Monday / Tuesday / Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Wednesday and Sunday: closed Responsibilities: - Present and explain treatment plans to patients with confidence and professionalism - Verify dental insurance benefits and prepare accurate financial estimates - Review financial arrangements with patients; discuss payment and financing options - Collect patient portions at the time of service and process payments - Follow up with patients on unscheduled treatment to promote case acceptance - Coordinate patient scheduling and help keep provider schedules productive - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring HIPAA compliance - Serve as a liaison between the clinical team and front office - Assist with check-in/check-out and front-office operations as needed Requirements: - Bilingual English/Spanish — REQUIRED - Minimum 2 years of dental front-office or treatment coordination experience - Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable discussing finances with patients - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Team-oriented and dependable - High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: - Open Dental software experience — highly preferred - Experience with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and claims - Familiarity with third-party financing options (e.g., CareCredit) - Track record of strong case acceptance Benefits: - Paid sick leave (per California law) - Paid holidays - Paid time off How to Apply: Please apply through Indeed with your current resume.
