Treatment Coordinator

Overview
The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience within our dental clinic. This position is responsible for coordinating treatment plans, managing patient interactions, and facilitating communication between patients and the clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and coding, as well as experience in office over site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Schedule appointments and manage the patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and insurance details in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for proper billing and insurance claims processing.
• Educate patients about their treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage.
• Maintain organized records and files for all patients, ensuring easy access to information for the clinical team.
• Assist in office management tasks including inventory control, supply ordering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Skills

• Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical office management is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care coordination.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
