Duties

• Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks.
• Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches efficiently and securely.
• Utilize rigging techniques to carefully lower large branches or entire trees during removal or pruning projects.
• Conduct tree care activities such as planting, pruning, trimming, and supporting healthy growth through horticultural practices.
• Apply arborist rigging techniques for complex tree work, ensuring safety for team members and the environment.
• Perform tree removal operations with chainsaws and other tools while adhering strictly to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven outdoor work experience
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment.
• Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree trimming, pruning, and plant care practices.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, bucket operation, and tree removal activities.
• Growing experience in landscaping or related fields such as lawn care or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Ability to work at heights using proper climbing gear while maintaining focus on safety standards.
• Strong physical fitness to handle outdoor conditions including lifting heavy loads, balancing on branches or ladders, and working in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
