Tree Climber

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using industry-standard techniques and equipment to perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services.
• Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assess tree health and stability, identify potential hazards, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Apply proper pruning methods to promote tree health and improve aesthetics.
• Safely remove hazardous branches and trees, minimizing risk to people and property.
• Work closely with the ground crew to ensure efficient and safe debris removal.
• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, offering expert advice on tree care and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
• Knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and maintain tree care tools and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
