Duties

• Safely climb trees using proper arborist rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks
• Rig and dismantle trees or limbs using industry-standard rigging methods to prevent damage and ensure safety
• Assist with tree removal projects, including cutting, hauling, and disposal of debris
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, plant pruning, and general landscaping tasks
• Support ground crew with equipment setup, safety checks, and site clean-up after job completion
• Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members

Skills

• Proficiency in chainsaw operations
• Experience and knowledge in tree climbing rigging and removal
• Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for tree care and removal projects
• Strong understanding of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and health assessment
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance including lawn care and planting techniques
• Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously during climbing and ground operations
• Outdoor work experience demonstrating physical endurance and teamwork skills
• Growing experience or background in horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), or landscaping is highly desirable
