Tree Climber Level 1- Entry Level

Job Description: We are seeking an entry-level climbing role with 1-2 years of climbing experience, responsible for assisting with pruning and removal of trees under supervision.

Job Responsibilities: The responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to:

o Identifying and using basic climbing gear and tree hooks correctly.

o Inspecting, maintaining, and properly storing climbing equipment.

o Tying basic knots and understanding basic climbing techniques.

o Making correct pruning cuts and using hand tools in the tree.

o Beginning to use chainsaws while in the tree under supervision.

o Communicating effectively with the ground crew using standard commands.

o Climbing and performing pruning or removal on trees up to 50 ft. in height.

o Working under direct supervision to ensure safety and skill development.

Job Parameters:

Full-time position

Salary Range: $24 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.
