Tree Estimator

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Requires 2+ years of Estimating experience, preferably with Environmental Construction and Maintenance, or 5+ years of field experience in heavy construction or related field
• Strong people, communication, and organizational skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and respond to changing priorities
• Capacity for project comprehension and the ability to convey pertinent information to staff
• California Driver's License and must be insurable
• Demonstrate professional business image always
• Understanding of arboricultural safe work practices and commitment to safety
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved three care practices

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze customer tree counts and data pertaining to tree healthcare
• Provide internal and external customers with clear and precise information pertaining to quality service and available products
• Follow up on new bid opportunities
• Communicate with clients through the proposal and project performance stages
• Maintain current, complete bid schedule and communicates status updates with Estimators and Managers on a weekly basis
• Maintains and transfers client information to staff for tracking
• Maintains potential client files on all bids prepared
• Stores and communicates all information pertaining to the bid which will be used by the field crews after the bid is awarded
• Estimates own projects in a highly productive manner
• Work with exterior Maintenance Account Managers to develop Tree Care programs and estimates for existing Andre Maintenance clients
• Plan daily schedule, hit specific activity benchmarks and close business targets

Salary Range: $24 - $28 /hour
