Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Ground Laborer to join our Tree Service Division. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our climbing and crew leaders on job sites. If you have prior experience in the tree care or land-clearing industry, take pride in working outdoors, and prioritize safety, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist crew members and arborists with ground operations during tree pruning and removal.
• Operate and maintain essential equipment safely (e.g., wood chippers, chainsaws, blowers, and hand tools).
• Drag brush, feed chippers, stack timber, and ensure job sites are left clean, safe, and immaculate.
• Follow strict safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and homeowners to ensure smooth job execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior Experience: Previous experience in the tree care industry, grounds maintenance, or land clearing is strongly preferred.
• Safety-Minded: A strong commitment to safe working habits on and around hazardous job sites.
• Team Player: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate well with others.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor (lifting, pulling, bending).
• Reliability: Dependable transportation to job sites / company shop and a strong attendance record.
