Duties

• Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access trees safely for pruning, trimming, or removal
• Use chainsaws and hand tools to cut, prune, or remove trees with precision and care
• Apply arborist rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or entire trees during removal or maintenance
• Perform tree care activities such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and disease management to promote healthy growth
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general site cleanup to enhance outdoor environments
• Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to ensure personal safety and that of team members
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and conditions

Requirements

• Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture
• Knowledge of tree identification (dendrology), plant pruning care, and tree trimming techniques
• Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques for safe tree removal and limb lowering
• Skilled in using chainsaws, hand tools, and other landscaping equipment with safety protocol adherence
• Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks consistently

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
