Tree Surgeon/Groundsperson

We are a busy and growing tree surgery company looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual to join our team.

We are open to applicants with experience as either a Tree Surgery Groundsman or Tree Climber, and we are happy to consider the right person depending on their experience and skill level.

The role

You’ll be working as part of a small, friendly team carrying out a variety of domestic and commercial tree surgery work, including:

• Tree dismantling and felling
• Pruning and reductions
• Hedge cutting
• Stump grinding
• Chipping and processing timber
• Site clearance and general groundsman duties
• Supporting climbers on site
• Working safely and keeping sites tidy

For climbers, experience with climbing, aerial rescue and chainsaw use is required. Relevant NPTC/City & Guilds qualifications are preferred.

For groundsmen, previous tree surgery experience is preferred but training can be provided for the right person. A good attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
