Tree Trimmer / Tree Crew Member

BlueOak Outdoor is hiring an experienced Tree Trimmer to join our growing team. We provide tree care, landscaping, lawn maintenance, and snow removal for residential and commercial customers throughout the Kansas City area.

We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and puts safety first.

Responsibilities

• Trim and prune trees for clearance, appearance, and tree health.
• Assist with tree removals and removal of dead or damaged branches.
• Safely operate chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers, and related equipment.
• Handle brush, load debris, and leave job sites clean.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
• Communicate with the crew leader about job progress and safety concerns.
• Assist with landscaping and other outdoor projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous professional tree trimming or tree crew experience.
• Knowledge of proper pruning techniques and safe chainsaw operation.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Tree climbing, rigging, aerial lift, and CDL experience are a plus. Climbing and aerial work will be assigned based on demonstrated training and qualifications.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
