Tree Trimmer/Arborist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscaping, with hands-on experience in tree trimming and maintenance. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, using specialized equipment to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
• Operate bucket trucks safely for high-altitude trimming and removal tasks.
• Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely and efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance, including lawn care and general landscaping duties.
• Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care or removal as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tree trimming, tree care, or horticulture is preferred.
• Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and planning purposes is a plus.
• Proficient in operating bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques for safe tree removal practices.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
