Burnetti, P.A. is growing! We are seeking a motivated, client-focused Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our personal injury team. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys building strong client relationships, guiding clients through the legal process, and advocating for injured individuals during the pre-litigation stage of their case.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, organized, compassionate, and able to effectively communicate with clients while managing a high-volume caseload.

Pre-Litigation Attorney responsible for managing personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase, maintaining strong client relationships, communicating case updates, negotiating with insurance companies, and collaborating with legal support staff while utilizing cloud-based technology

What you will do:

• Manage personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Communicate case updates and guide clients through the claims process
• Negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes
• Review and analyze medical records, liability, and damages
• Collaborate with legal support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing cloud-based technology

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing preferred, or planning to take the Bar exam in the near future
• Candidates planning to sit for the Florida Bar Exam in the near future will also be considered
• Personal injury experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-7+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• First-chair or second-chair trial experience preferred.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience handling mediations and negotiating settlements.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
