Trial Paralegal

Position: Temporary Trial Paralegal

Assignment Length: Approx. one month

Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week leading up to Trial.

Location: Remote, with required on-site presence in Miami, Florida, during the trial.

Start Date: Immediate / To Be Determined

Compensation: Hourly + Overtime. Commensurate with experience

Position Overview

A confidential legal matter is seeking an experienced and highly organized Temporary Trial Paralegal for a one-month assignment supporting trial preparation and related litigation needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced litigation environment. The assignment will require approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility as trial approaches.

On-site attendance in Miami, Florida, will be required during the trial at the end of August.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with trial preparation and case organization.
• Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other litigation materials.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of trial exhibits, witness materials, and demonstratives.
• Conduct legal and factual research as requested.
• Prepare trial binders and other materials necessary for courtroom use.
• Perform additional trial-support duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation and/or trial support.
• Supported at least 2 trials on-site
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Professional demeanor and discretion are essential given the confidential nature of the matter.
• Must be available to work onsite in Miami, Florida, during the trial at the end of August.
