Trilingual SOC Analyst (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is looking for a Trilingual SOC Analyst (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts and events generated by SIEM, EDR, NDR, and other cybersecurity monitoring platforms.
• Perform real-time threat detection, triage, and incident response activities to minimize business impact.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, identify root causes, and recommend remediation actions.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior analysts, incident responders, or relevant technical teams when necessary.
• Develop and maintain detection use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and reporting capabilities within SIEM platforms.
• Proactively hunt for threats and suspicious activities across networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and applications.
• Participate in vulnerability management activities and support remediation follow-up.
• Produce incident reports, security metrics, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support security awareness initiatives and provide guidance on security best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to cybersecurity incidents when required.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Defense Center (CDC), or similar cybersecurity environment.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, malware analysis, and cyber attack techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions such as: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk Enterprise Security, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm, Elastic Security (ELK), Rapid7 InsightIDR, etc.
• Experience with endpoint security and detection tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or Cortex XDR.
• Good knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies, VPNs, Active Directory, and cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to analyze logs from multiple sources, identify anomalies, and correlate security events.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is considered an asset.
• Mandatory language skills: Dutch, French & English . German would be an asset.
