Trim/Finish Carpenter

Construction Brokers, Inc. is a commercial General Contractor with 70 years in business and 10 U.S. offices. We are looking for an experienced Trim / Finish Carpenter for steady commercial work throughout the St. Louis area. Our office is located in Chesterfield, MO.

Please note: Our onboarding process includes a background check, drug screening, physical/Human Performance Evaluation, and I-9 employment eligibility verification.

Requirements:

• 5+ years commercial carpentry/remodeling experience
• Strong finish and trim carpentry skills with attention to detail
• Installation of doors, frames, hardware, trim, base, molding and other finish materials
• Skilled in drywall patching, mudding, taping, sanding and Level 4 finish work
• Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation and general rough carpentry
• Able to take accurate measurements, make precise cuts and complete detailed finish work
• Able to determine material needs and complete projects with limited supervision
• Comfortable working independently in occupied commercial environments
• Able to coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors and other trades
• Basic hand tools, reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• OSHA 10 required or must be obtained
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders/stairs and work from scaffolding
• Occasional overnight travel required; CBI covers approved hotel and meal expenses with an additional temporary wage increase while traveling

We are looking for a skilled, dependable carpenter who takes pride in high-quality finished work and can handle projects from framing and repairs through final finishes.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
