Trimshop Assistant

Seasons Funeral Homes is a recognised industry leader dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families and the funeral profession. Established in Perth for over 30 years, we operate across the metropolitan area and Peel region.

We are currently seeking a Casual Trimshop Assistant to join our Mortuary team, working up to five (5) mornings per week. This role supports the preparation and organisation of the mortuary environment and plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position requiring a high level of care, accuracy, and respect. You will be responsible for supporting daily mortuary operations, including preparation tasks, stock control, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace. Some aspects of this role are physically demanding therefore, the successful applicant needs to be fit, healthy and capable of lifting when required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare coffins and associated materials in line with daily priorities
• Assist with incoming transfers using appropriate PPE
• Maintain stock levels and organise supplies
• Ensure work areas, equipment, and storage (including fridges) are clean and compliant
• Complete documentation and perform accuracy checks
• Support the mortuary team with general duties as required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Comfortable working in a clinical or mortuary environment
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Committed to health and safety practices, including PPE use
