Troy Market Driver

We are seeking a driver to deliver our artisanal goat cheese and related products to the Troy Farmers Market every Saturday. Pay is negotiable depending on experience working with/selling farm products or food generally. Job responsibilities will include as follows:

• Load your car with our products and market supplies either Friday evening or early Saturday morning
• Drive to Troy Farmers Market
• Unload goods at markets and set up; likewise, break down and reload car at the end of the day
• Run our market stand, interacting with customers and selling our products
• Drive company truck back to the farm, and unload products into our walk-in fridge

Required qualifications:

• A valid NY driver's license
• A car with enough storage to hold bulky items such as several large coolers and a tent
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
• Willingness to follow directions in order to ensure our goods and market items make it there and back undamaged
• A friendly disposition so customers feel welcomed
• Bonus points for enthusiasm for farmers markets and associated goods
• Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Square app

Pay: From $250.00 per day
