Truck Driver -CDL- Regional Refrigerated

Location: Yard in Caldwell, ID. Lanes primarily travel in Pacific Northwest area

Pay: $0.60 to $0.66 a mile

Sign-on bonuses between $500 to $3000 depending on candidate exeprience and qualifications.

Job Description: Doug Andrus Distributing LLC is seeking experienced regional drivers with at least 2 years of OTR experience for our Pacific Northwest regional refrigerated fleet. These lanes will operate in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Drivers will be home every other night and are expected to deliver 22+ loads per month. Drivers will be assigned a tractor with a small sleeper. We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious drivers with a strong work record and flexibility to meet varying job demands.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight along designated local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during operations.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in route driving or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Familiarity with various types of trailers, including refrigerated and tanker trailers, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
