Truck Driver - Class 1

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and delivery details.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck, including basic automotive repairs as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues on the road.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
