Truck Driver Class A

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various distances while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. A commitment to timely deliveries and excellent customer service is essential.

Duties

• Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Drive various types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles, dump trucks, tankers, and flatbeds as required.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE Minimum.

• CDL.

• Experience driving different types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or dump trucks is preferred.

• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.

• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
