Duties

• Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods between distribution centers, clients, and other destinations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues during transit
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure deliveries
• Assist with securing loads and performing routine maintenance checks on the vehicle

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle operated
• Proven experience driving large trucks or similar heavy vehicles
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and physical demands of loading/unloading tasks
• Clear communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
