Responsibilities

• Safely operate semi-truck dry van general freight haul, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Manage logistics cargo handling processes, including verifying loads, inspecting trailers, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to update delivery statuses and address route or cargo concerns proactively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning on over-the-road routes.
• Ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading freight safely and effectively.
• U.S citizens or Valid Green Card Holders only.
