Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport landscaping materials including soil, plants, and equipment to job sites.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials at each destination.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks before and after trips.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating the vehicle.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand specific material needs for each site.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and record any issues encountered on the road.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and project success.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a landscape or construction-related field.
• Good knowledge of highway safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate a variety of landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Excellent time management skills to adhere to schedules.
