Seeking Class A CDL Driver with a month or more experience to haul dry and reefer freight for dedicated account.

Trainees are accepted must have cdl, NO tickets/accidents/ DOT violation, also must school document.

Hauling freight to Atlanta, Birmingham, and South GA

Both day and night shift opening

Driver have the option of a 5 or 6 day work schedule. Weekend and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries
• Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across assigned routes
• Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while following proper safety procedures
• Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA guidelines
• Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA, and Hazardous Materials Regulations during all driving activities
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness, including manual transmission checks when applicable
• Document delivery details accurately, including load & unload records, delivery logs, and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit
• Ensure cargo is secured properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents during transit
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to truck loading/unloading, cargo handling, and route driving

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight transportation
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation is preferred
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for hazmat transportation if applicable
• Demonstrated ability to follow FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazard materials regulations, and safety standards
• Experience operating trucks equipped with manual transmissions is advantageous
• Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving across long distances or local deliveries preferred
• Knowledge of GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning and execution
• Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures for various freight types

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
