Truck Driver

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the truck safely and follow traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety policies.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, including tires, brakes, lights, oil, and other essential components.
• Secure and check the cargo to prevent shifting, damage, or loss during transportation.
• Complete delivery documents, such as delivery receipts, trip tickets, manifests, and inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate trip records, including mileage, fuel consumption, routes, and delivery times.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical problems or safety issues promptly.
• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements, including limits on driving hours, weight restrictions, and required licenses.

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional License (Restriction Code 3 - C)
• Preferrably with 1-5 years driving experience preferable with 6-wheeler truck
• Highly knowledgeable and compliant in road safety and regulations.
• Must be physically fit and willing to travel for long distances.
• Can perform basic vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Able to perform other tasks as per management directive
