Truck Driver

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and responsible Box 26ft Truck Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a box truck while completing deliveries and pickups across a variety of local and regional routes. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable driving in different areas, following delivery schedules, and providing reliable service.

No CDL is required. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a clean and safe driving record, and at least 3 months of professional driving or box truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on assigned routes
• Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries in a timely manner
• Navigate a variety of local and regional routes
• Maintain electronic/paper logs in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulation
• Load, secure, and unload items as needed
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain communication regarding deliveries, delays, or route changes with dispatch
• Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all company policies and applicable traffic and safety regulations
• Provide professional and courteous service at pickup and delivery locations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 3 months of professional driving or box truck experience
• CDL not required
• Clean motor vehicle record with no recent major traffic violations, reckless driving convictions, license suspensions, or driving under the influence (DUI/DWI) offenses
• Ability to meet applicable company and insurance driving-record requirements
• Ability to safely operate a box truck
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card, if required for the position
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable driving different routes and navigating unfamiliar areas
• Ability to follow directions and delivery schedules

Must be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with pickups and deliveries
