Truck Driver

About the role:

Join our team as a Truck Driver and support the team in delivering exciting projects! Bring your truck driving experience to the table and help us achieve exceptional results.

Key responsibilities

• Driving 6-wheeler/8-wheeler trucks
• Carting drainage aggregate, sand, topsoil, clay and tipping
• Loading and tipping on a variety of sites
• Working alongside digger operators and ground crew
• Completing daily vehicle checks and looking after your truck
• Operate various equipment (excavators, loaders, rollers) and self load
• Helping out on site when required
• Following site and workplace health and safety requirements

About you

• Holds the appropriate current NZ heavy vehicle licence (class 4 or 5)
• WTR Endorsement
• Has previous truck driving experience
• Is confident operating around diggers and earthmoving machinery
• Is reliable and turns up ready to work
• Takes pride in looking after vehicles and equipment
• Has good communication skills
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a positive, practical attitude
