Truck Driver Code 10

Unity Freight is seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our growing logistics and transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive company trucks to designated collection and delivery points.
• Transport goods securely and ensure cargo is properly loaded and protected.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults or safety concerns.
• Complete delivery notes, trip sheets, logbooks, and other required documentation.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, transport regulations, and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, warehouse personnel, and management.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the assigned vehicle.
• Report accidents, delays, damages, or other incidents immediately.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid South African driver's license with the appropriate code for operating heavy-duty vehicles.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP), where required.
• Previous experience as a Truck Driver or Heavy Vehicle Driver.
• Good knowledge of South African roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to complete delivery and transport documentation accurately.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or long-distance routes when required.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality.
• Police clearance certificate may be required.

Pay: R18 000,00 per month
