We are looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic who understands semi-trucks inside and out and can diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair semi-trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
• Troubleshoot engine and mechanical problems
• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and steering systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and related components
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Ensure vehicles meet applicable safety requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Help keep trucks road-ready and minimize unnecessary downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop

Requirements

• Proven experience as a truck mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy-duty mechanic
• Strong knowledge of semi-trucks, diesel engines, and truck systems
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Knowledge of electrical systems, brakes, and preventative maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Relevant trade certification or technical training is an asset
