Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
• Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation systems for efficient deliveries
• Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo
• Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable
• Manage delivery driving tasks including route driving, freight handling, and timely drop-offs at designated locations
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and compliance documentation in line with FMCSA regulations

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for refrigerated trailers, Hazmat, or tanker as needed
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route driving and manual transmission operation
• Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and manual handling techniques
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient OTR routes
• Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods
• Strong understanding of truck driving safety protocols and FMCSA regulations governing commercial trucking operations
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and commitment to safety standards
