TRUCKING COORDINATOR

Qualification Requirements :

Education : At least college level

Experience : At least 1 or 2 years work related experience in a logistics company

Skills : Driving/traffic rules and regulations, driving, organization and time management,

forwarding/trucking operation, preventive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

a. Takes charge of the prompt dispatch of trucks in accordance with schedule.

b. Entertains/receives bookings of client’s trucking requirement.

c. Schedules drivers and helpers according to trucking requirements.

d. Communicates with drivers, Trucking Supervisor and other concerned personnel regarding trip schedule and/or trucking activities.

e. Coordinates with immediate superior regarding concerns of the truck drivers and helpers including that of clients.

f. Ensures smooth trucking operation and quality customer service.

g. Adheres to the standard safety and security of cargoes, drivers and helpers.

h. Provide timely and accurate feedback to immediate superior regarding status of shipment, trucking fleet and personnel.

i. Ensures that basic vehicle check or inspection is done by drivers prior to dispatch.

j. Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time by immediate superior.
