Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks safely across OTR routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Navigate using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes while managing delivery schedules efficiently.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous substances.
• Maintain vehicle safety by conducting routine inspections, reporting issues promptly, and adhering to truck loading/unloading procedures.
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and hazard regulations to ensure safe transportation practices are upheld at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving.
• Hands-on experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trucking equipment.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and safe handling procedures for dangerous goods.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailer operations.
• Prior experience in logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems on long-distance routes across different states or regions.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the specific freight transported (e.g., Hazmat endorsement).
• Understanding of FMCSA regulations related to commercial driving, safety protocols, and cargo security standards.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
