Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truss Builder to join our team. As a Truss Builder, you will be responsible for constructing various types of trusses according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine truss specifications.
• Measure and cut lumber to precise dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Assemble truss components according to layout and assembly diagrams.
• Ensure that all trusses meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Truss Builder or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in carpentry or a related field.
• Experience operating woodworking machinery.
