Trusts & Estates Associate (Private Client Services) Location: New York, NY A leading global law firm is seeking a 1st–5th year Associate to join its Private Client Services Group in New York. This is an opportunity to work within a highly regarded practice advising on sophisticated and sensitive matters for high net worth individuals, family offices and business owners.

The team offers an interdisciplinary approach across estate planning, tax, succession planning and related areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on trusts and estates and private client matters
• Support estate and succession planning strategies
• Assist with transfer tax and income tax planning
• Draft estate planning documents and related materials
• Work on complex, cross-disciplinary matters involving tax, real estate and family business structures

Who You Are

• 1st–5th year associate
• Experience in trusts & estates, transfer tax and/or income tax matters
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
• Interest in private client and estate planning work
• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning (completed or in progress) preferred
• Experience with international tax planning is a plus
• Admitted or eligible to be admitted in the relevant jurisdiction

Compensation Salary Range: $225,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
