Responsibilities of the Trusts & Estates Paralegal:

• Be able to handle preparation of appraisals

• Be able to prepare federal and state estate tax returns

• Be able to handle probate process

• Be able to prepare fiduciary accounting

• Be able to handle trust administration

• Be able to handle preparation of fiduciary income tax returns

Requirements of the Trusts & Estates Paralegal:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience handling large estates

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience handling all types of trusts

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Tech savvy and proficient with MS Office Suite including Adobe

• Organized, excellent attention to detail and strong at multitasking

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment

• Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance

• Excellent talent for interacting with people in a positive and courteous manner

Compensation and Benefits for the Trusts & Estates Paralegal:

• Approximately $65,000-$90,000/annually, depending on experience
